Terms & Condition

Thank you for choosing Vaidic Yoga Ashram. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they outline the agreement between you (the participant) and Vaidic Yoga Ashram (the retreat organiser). By participating in our yoga retreat in India, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Payment:

  • Payment can be made through the designated payment methods provided by Vaidic Yoga Ashram.

3. Program Changes:

  • Vaidic Yoga Ashram reserves the right to modify the retreat itinerary, including but not limited to, activities, schedules, and instructors, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or for the safety and well-being of participants.

4. Health and Safety:

  • Participants are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns that may affect their ability to participate in yoga activities. Vaidic Yoga Ashram reserves the right to deny participation or make necessary modifications to ensure the safety of all participants.

5. Code of Conduct:

Participants are expected to adhere to a high standard of conduct throughout the duration of the retreat. Failure to comply with the following guidelines may result in immediate expulsion from the retreat without refund, and, in serious cases, may involve legal action.

  • Respectful Behaviour: 
    • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow participants, staff, and instructors.
    • Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour, including harassment or discrimination, will not be tolerated.
  • Alcohol and Substance Use:
    • The use of alcohol or illegal substances is strictly prohibited during retreat activities. Participants under the influence may be asked to leave the retreat.
  • Safety Guidelines:
    • Participants are required to follow all safety guidelines provided by Vaidic Yoga Ashram and its staff.
    • Failure to adhere to safety guidelines may result in removal from certain activities.
  • Confidentiality:
    • Respect the confidentiality of personal information shared by fellow participants during the retreat. Do not disclose sensitive information without explicit consent.
  • Conflict Resolution:
    • In the event of conflicts, participants are encouraged to address concerns with Vaidic Yoga Ashram staff promptly. We are committed to resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Police Complaints and Legal Action:
    • In the case of serious violations of the Code of Conduct, Vaidic Yoga Ashram reserves the right to involve local law enforcement authorities.
    • Participants engaging in criminal activities may be reported to the police, and Vaidic Yoga Ashram will fully cooperate with any subsequent investigations.
  • Expulsion from the Retreat:
    • Vaidic Yoga Ashram reserves the right to expel any participant who violates the Code of Conduct. Expelled participants will not be entitled to any refunds.

6. Intellectual Property:

  • All materials, including but not limited to, class content, instructional materials, and retreat resources, provided by Vaidic Yoga Ashram are the intellectual property of Vaidic Yoga Ashram and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

7. Force Majeure:

  • Vaidic Yoga Ashram is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.

8. Liability:

  • Participants attend the retreat at their own risk. Vaidic Yoga Ashram, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or any medical expenses incurred by participants during the retreat.

9. Administrative Fees for Foreign Guests:

  • Indian government regulations require us to inform the local police department whenever foreign (Non Indian) guest come to stay here, Unless they also have an OCI card. For this process, we’ll need to see your passport and visa documents when you arrive, so that we can submit the proper documents. The same regulations also require us to make regular in-person visits to the local Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO). In order to cover the additional time, efforts and transportations expenses involved, we are introducing a small fee of Rs 250 for each foreigner visit. Whether you’re staying for one day or several months, The fee only needs to be paid once per visit.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

  • Vaidic Yoga Ashram reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and the updated terms will be posted on the Vaidic Yoga Ashram website.
